Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it.
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes, placing them upside down in the baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
- Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced onion, minced garlic, and spices to the ground beef, stirring well for an even mixture.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the meat and rice mixture, packing it down a bit to fit well.
- Top each stuffed pepper with a generous handful of shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
