Ingredients

  • Ground Beef

  • Tortilla Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain the excess fat.

  4. In the greased casserole dish, layer the ground beef mixture at the bottom. Next, add chopped bell peppers, corn, black beans, and salsa in layers.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top along with crushed tortilla chips.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving to set the layers.

Notes

  • Customize the heat level with jalapeños or spicy salsa.
  • Make it vegetarian by replacing beef with lentils.
