Instructions

  3. Include diced chicken breast; cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle in wild rice and dried thyme, then pour in chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for about 30 minutes until the rice is tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
