Ingredients

  • Lasagna Noodles
  • Ground Beef
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Egg
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and add ground beef. Sauté until browned and crumbly; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the mozzarella, and then another layer of meat sauce.
  7. Repeat the layers, ending with noodles, remaining meat sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Allow lasagna to cool for 10 minutes before serving to set the layers.
